The Climate Canary
A Documentary Film
In November 2018 we travelled to Scott Base, Antarctica (thanks to Antarctica NZ's Community Engagement Programme) to gather footage and stories to create a multi-media educational children's play, and to create content for Sesame Street.
But along the way - we had our minds blown by the work that is being done on the Ice by some of the top scientists in the world, to better understand our planet. In particular - climate change.
Here's a sneak peek at what we got up to and what we learned...
This whole incredible experience has created another mission:
To make a documentary looking at climate change, how New Zealand and Antarctica are connected and what we can do about it.
